Kaitlin Keeler

Kaitlin Keeler is the Digital Editorial Manager for Oakland County, MI Government where she is responsible for all digital content across the organization. She leads the Digital Editorial Team that creates and publishes engaging multimedia content throughout the County’s various channels. Additionally, Kaitlin wrote and implemented the County’s first enterprise social media marketing strategy integrating all departments’ social presences with the centralized goals of the County including a comprehensive policy, account governance and interactive training.

She is recognized as a thought leader in the government social media space, and was recently appointed to serve on the council for the Government Social Media Organization council where she will play a leadership role for the direction of the nation-wide organization and planning for their annual conference where she has been asked to speak for a 3rd year in a row. Her work has also led Oakland County to receive national recognition through several awards programs: the National Association of Counties (NACo) Achievement awards for their Digital Editorial Process and Social Media Strategy and Policy; as well as well as the Government Social Media Golden Post Awards.

Kaitlin is a frequent speaker and trainer for local and national organizations instilling the importance of integrating marketing fundamentals and digital media best practices with authentic content and superior customer service to increase citizen engagement and deliver real-world results. In her spare time Kaitlin volunteers marketing and digital services to several non-profits, and is an active board member of Friends of Foster Kids.
